Distance Learning Program
An Academic Accommodation
The Vanguard Academy Distance Learning Program is a specialized educational pathway designed primarily as an accommodation for students facing significant external challenges.
Program Purpose
Rather than serving as a general alternative to traditional schooling, this program is intended for families navigating unique, ongoing circumstances that make standard daily attendance unmanageable. Its core purpose is to prevent the chronic absenteeism that would inevitably occur if the student were required to attend in-person classes every day.
How It Supports Students
By utilizing a distance learning model, the program ensures that students facing these specific barriers are not penalized academically for their life circumstances. It provides the necessary structure and resources for students to access their curriculum, maintain their academic standing, and stay on track for graduation when regular classroom attendance is simply not a viable option.
If you have any questions about the Distance Learning Program, please contact your advisor or the advisor of your student.
